Beets Headphones by Origaudio
By Tim Hillebrand, May 22, 2013

When I received the package containing the headphones for review, I opened it, and it contained a can of beets. Huh? I didn’t order any beets. I don’t even really like them very much. I remember planting some in my garden one time and couldn’t get rid of them. They kept coming back year after year whether I wanted them or not.
I dug a little deeper in the package. Lo and behold there was a black circular case. I opened it and it contained a nice looking pair of over the hear headphones. Guess what. There were beets on the side panels of each phone.

New AOC 57 LED Monitor
By Tim Hillebrand, May 16, 2013

When the package arrived I couldn’t tell if it were a monitor or a TV. I suppose there isn’t all that much difference these days with the multi-functionality of monitors in concert with computers. But it did turn out to be a nice 23 inch monitor known as the AOC:12367fh.
The suggested retail price is $199, but I’ve seen them here for just $161. What a bargain.

Toddy Gear’s New Brandable Pocket Toddy
By Tim Hillebrand, April 3, 2013

I’ve written about Toddy Gear’s great, two sided screen and lens cleaning cloths. They have come up with a great new idea for a promotional product that should be of much interest to businesses and consumers alike.
It will be of interest to businesses because it will be a change to promote their brand and get a product in customers and potential customer’s hands that will be used, seen often, and appreciated. You can print your logo or message all over it.
Consumers will appreciate receiving this promotional item because it is useful and a valuable gift.

Seidio Convert Case for Nexus 4: a triple whammy
By Tim Hillebrand, April 1, 2013

As far as I’m concerned, this case has it all. It’s really like three cases in one.
If you’re looking for rugged protection, it gives you a highly shock absorbent silicone case that will survive an elephant stampede and being dropped from tall buildings.
If you need attachment and portability, it comes with a uniquely designed belt clip that will protect the face of your device and hold it securely on your belt at the same time.

By Tim Hillebrand, March 20, 2013

Bluetune-Solo is a portable Bluetooth speaker system with a big sound. Its portability makes it a perfect travel companion or handy auxiliary speaker. Some of my sound casters just don't have that great a sound quality, but this little sound cylinder measuring only 3 x 2.75 inches solves that problem It's not just a speaker for enhancing music and videos, it also functions as a handsfree device with the push of a button. So, you could even use it in your car, on your desk, next to your bed or TV chair. It has a built-in microphone for this purpose that automatically activates.

Swann Sky Duel: a big boy toy
By Tim Hillebrand, March 20, 2013

Some things are just more fun to review than others. I can’t think of a product I’ve reviewed lately that has been as much fun as the Swann Sky Duel helicopter set. Yes, it’s a set that comes with two helicopters in the package.
It’s called Duel because you actually shoot it out with your opponent with Infrared laser guns. Hit your enemy three times and he’s blown away. Actually he is disabled and comes down for a soft landing so you don’t destroy the helicopter.
On the first hit, the opponent’s copter lights up two LED lights, one on each side of the ship.
