Handheld PC Pro Service Pack available

Microsoft has released a Service Pack for its Handheld PC Pro class of PC Companions. It fixes problems with, and adds features to the built-in Pocket Applications. These fixes are already built into some on the newest H/PC Pros. To find out, open the Systems application in your Control Panel and select the Applications tab. If it says you are running version 3.01 of the "Bundled Applications" you DO NOT need to install the service pack. If they are listed as version 3.0, go ahead. The service pack is supposed to be available on your PC Companion manufacturer's Web site, but we've only found it on Sharp's (go to www.sharp-usa.com, search on "service pack" and page down to "Mobilon Pro and TriPad Service Pak." It can also be found on www.handango.com.
