Browser article heavily updated
I've heavily updated my latest Web browser roundup & comparison (which, incidentally, has been frontpaged at WM Power User in the meantime) with, among other things, a straightforward Verdict section and a lot of more info.

FULL ROUNDUP: Browsing the Web on Windows Mobile just like on iPhone, incl. IEM6 review
After purchasing an iPhone 3G, I immediately fell in love with Safari, its Web browser. Granted, it's somewhat less capable as the best, comparable Windows Mobile (WinMo for short) titles (no Flash, no page saving, no copy/paste, no Opera Link, no explicit text size settings, no caching etc.) and, from time to time, it crashes even with the last, 2.2 firmware version, but it's still much better usable and much faster than anything on Windows Mobile.

Opera Mini + (W)VGA users, attention: a hacked, VGA-friendly Jbed version has been released!

Teksoft releases "BlueAudio"!
"Since the last release of BlueMusic, back in February 2007, our developers worked hard on an update. It took a lot of time and creativity, but we have it ready, and you can download your copy right now!...We've pushed the development even further and now a new improved version is available: BlueMusic 3 codename "BlueAudio".

Use Teksoft's USBInput with your mouse and keyboard
A distinct advantage that Palm, and Windows Mobile have over other mobile OS flavors (at least for now) is the proliferation of mucho third-party hardware/software that greatly enhance the usability of the device. Some of it is interesting if only for the coolness factor. USBInput is that kind of software, but undoubtedly useful as well.

New Devices from AT&T, HP, and Sprint; Free Mac Syncing Software
Wow, a lot of news recently regarding your choices for new devices. AT&T has released the Samsung Epix, HP has come out with the iPAQ Voice Messenger and the iPAQ Data Traveller, and Sprint has released the HTC Touch Pro.
AT&T Epix
AT&T’s new Samsung Epix has a Treo-like form factor with a front-facing QWERTY keyboard. It’s sometimes called the BlackJack III, but unlike that device it has a touch screen.

VITO Winterface Review--V1.14
I'll put it this way. If you want to make your Windows Mobile device look and act a little more like the iPhone, then Winterface is for you. It is essentially at it's core, yet another application launcher/manager, whith some messaging and PIM integration. It looks good, and the screen animations were quite snappy on my iPAQ. Make no mistake, I like Winterface but would like to see a few more hooks into the native WM environment.

Mac Loves WinMo?
I recently received an announcement from Eltima Software regarding a new product of theirs called SyncMate. Unfortunately I don't have a Mac so I can't relate any first hand experience with this software (yet), but it sounds pretty nifty, so I thought I'd let all of you know about it in case you happened to own a Mac and a Windows Mobile device. And since the lite version is free, you have nothing to lose for giving it a try!
"From now on, synchronizing your Mac with Pocket PC is as easy as one, two, three! Let us introduce SyncMate to you! SyncMate is a new and very simple synchronization tool by Eltima Software. It is presented in two versions, Free and Expert.

Battle of the UI Replacements!

Wisbar (on the left), and Winterface (on the right) both have new versions of their UI enhancement apps available this month. Vito is releasing Winterface with a new free weather plug-in, so I'll have to put my dusty, shabby ex-weather man hat on and review it. I've been a Wisbar fan since like waaay back in the day when just having something besides the ugly start menu to look at was cool (so we thought). I even have some WA skins of my own somewhere. God, what a lot of work that was...I digress!
