Beets Headphones by Origaudio

When I received the package containing the headphones for review, I opened it, and it contained a can of beets. Huh? I didn’t order any beets. I don’t even really like them very much. I remember planting some in my garden one time and couldn’t get rid of them. They kept coming back year after year whether I wanted them or not.

I dug a little deeper in the package. Lo and behold there was a black circular case. I opened it and it contained a nice looking pair of over the hear headphones. Guess what. There were beets on the side panels of each phone. So that was the connection.

Unlike real beets, the headphones come in your choice of six colors including black, pink, green, red, white, and blue.

Here’s what Origaudio has to say about this product:

These headphones possess al the exhilarating effects of an actual beet! While you’re jamming to your favorite tunes, you’ll be receiving a healthy dose of antioxidants and nutrients. Also our headphones have been clinically proven to reduce blood pressure while expanding the arteries when listening to your music.
These headphones feature full stereo sound with outside oise reduction technology, volume control and a single headphone cord to reduce tangling, soft cushioned earcups for extra comfort. The frequency response is 20Hz to 20kHz.

A hard exterior travel case is included with each set.

They work with any device that has a standard 3.5 mm headphone jack.
The good news is the price. They are only $25. Now that’s a price that’s difficult to beet. With every purchase, the company donates an actual can of beets to the Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County. I wonder if they get the tax write off or the customer.

Origaudio offer several audio products including ear buds and speakers. They also have a line of headphones that allow you to design your own with graphics of your choice in case you are not partial to beets, but they cost more. Check out this unique company at
