New AOC 57 LED Monitor

When the package arrived I couldn’t tell if it were a monitor or a TV. I suppose there isn’t all that much difference these days with the multi-functionality of monitors in concert with computers. But it did turn out to be a nice 23 inch monitor known as the AOC:12367fh.

The suggested retail price is $199, but I’ve seen them here for just $161. What a bargain. You can grab one here.
This sleek monitor offers a 23 inch display and driver support for Windows XP/Vista/7/8 (32 and 64 bit) as well as for Intel based MAC OSX.

The ultra-slim, compact design (.5 “ thick) features a narrow bezel only 3/8 inch wide on top and sides with a brushed aluminum band across the bottom. Energy Star rated, this monitor combines crisp and clear display with high energy efficiency. It uses advanced, high-performance in-plane switching (IPS) technology and 50,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ration for superb picture quality, higher definition, better color accuracy, and greater light transmission.

It has all the connections you would ever want for connecting computers of all types, game consoles, and other devices such as BluRay players. It has built-in HDMI ports and built-in speakers.
While is comes with a nice, rectangular, metal stand, it can support itself without a stand for a lower profile and sit flush on a desktop.

It would be difficult to beat this sleek, fashionable, and high quality monitor at any price. It’s a good value and has earned a place on my multi-screen desktop. It’s a definite two thumbs up.
