Swann Adds New Helicopters to its Hangar

I get such a kick out of flying remote control helicopters I’ve been thinking that when I grow up I might join the Air force and become a drone helicopter pilot. But I don’t really want a real job, and Swann has come to the rescue with some really great new helicopters.

The Black Swann will record flights with video and still photos. Just add a Micro SD card to record the data and push a button. With this baby I can spy on my neighbors. Maybe I will start a new business, a surveillance agency.

This copter comes with a six way remote control console that allows for easy flying of the machine made even easier with an onboard gyroscope for more control and greater stability. You can control your bird up to 100 feet away. You can also charge the helo remotely for 8 more minutes of flying time.

Another addition to the Swann helicopter lineup is the Sky Eye, which also has a remote control, is gyro balanced, and comes with a built in camera and 512 MB of memory.

Both units cost $99.99.

A final addition is the i-Fly Micro Lightning model. You control this one with your iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad. While it’s gyro balanced and has many of the same features as the other two, it does not have a built-in camera. Accordingly, it only costs $69.99

I hesitate to call the first copters toys because they could be put to some serious stealth spy uses. Check them out at www.swann.com.
