The Wednesday "Wequest" VII: VGA Presentation tools

I use an Audiovox XV6600 Pocket PC phone from Verizon and want to display PowerPoint presentations at client meetings. I have been unable to locate any manufacturer of hardware to support this type of use. Any suggestions?

This is a question I receive at least once a month. Sadly, a number of hardware solutions for this problem are no longer available. Recently, I found the answer to this problem, but it has limited availability!

The iGo Pitch Duo is a wireless presentation system, which connects directly to your Pocket PC (2002 or 2003) via Bluetooth to send PowerPoint slides to a VGA projector (not included) while you read the slide notes on your Pocket PC. And because it uses Bluetooth, the Pitch Duo leaves your memory card slot free to store your presentations and your docking port free for A/C power.

The Pitch Duo comes with it's own presentation software, and also allows you to display the show in preview, outline, slide view and notes modes. The unit is also helpful for Pocket PC training, as it has the capability to display the live screen over the VGA projector.

However, it only works on Pocket PC 2002 and 2003 devices and when I contacted the PR team, they said the unit was in limited availability, and they were not planning on making any more. If anyone has any additional leads for devices of this nature, please post a comment below.

The dicontinuing of this device is certainly bad news. I've been recommending it too as the only no storage card-based solution (I know of).

UPDATE: As it turns out, Rich Weiss, the original user that asked this question, couldn't obtain the presentation system from iGo. He ended up buying a Dell Axim X51v with the presentation module and reported back to me that "It works beautifully!" It looks like this might be the only option for users that want to present from their Pocket PC.
