One huge advantage that WinMo still has over much of the competition is a looong period (literally years) of development history and experience to draw upon. Like Palm and Symbian, a lot of coders and hackers have found and compiled (no pun intended) a ton of tricks and tweaks to make it easy to pimp out WinMo nicely. The premier place to find that kind of info is the forums at xda-developers (the latest I've picked up is a reg tweak to enhance the touchscreen's sensitivity). It's not always for the non-geeky though, but if you want the best of the best without digging through the geek jargon, simply subscribe or check out pocketnow! I just had to give them props for the unwaveringly awesome support and coverage of all things WM. They recently started e-mailing out the top 5 stories of the week to participating subscribers--or for the hyper connected, now offer a twitter feed. Usually this includes one seriously awesome tip gleaned from the xda forums, like the touchscreen hack mentioned above. Kudos to both xda-devs and pocketnow for keeping the torch lit for Windows Mobile...
