Extensive Kingston Elite Pro 2GB CF benchmark/optimization results

Thanks to PDAMania forum member "P.Miki", some extensive optimization/benchmarking results have been posted on Kingston Elite Pro 2GB CF cards. (Click the main URL to see the table.) As can clearly be seen, the cards offer the best performance with FAT32, without a backup FAT table and the cluster size of 16 kbytes, which is the killer in every respect (file creation/small and large file reading speed), except for one area (large file writing speed), where it's a bit slower than the most powerful case with 64 kbyte cluster sizes. You may want to read this article on optimizing memory cards and this blog entry on the behaviour of some Kingston SD cards. (Please note that the tested card was a CF card and not an SD. Kingston CF cards behave, in general, considerably better than SD cards, performance-wise when unoptimized.)
