Q: How can I go on programming the Pocket PC Bluetooth in eithr Java or in .NET CF? In Java, it's, to my knowledge, impossible – there're no BT libraries for Pocket PC JVM's. As for .NET CF: the .NET Compact Framework doesn't natively provide support for Bluetooth. You can access most third-party Pocket PC implementations of Bluetooth via either serial port communications or through a provider's API. However, if you only want to develop for Microsoft BT stack Pocket PC's, a third-party BT .NET library, OpenNETCF Bluetooth library (AKA InTheHand.Net.Bluetooth) does exist; please see this. The related forums can be found at here and here. Unfortunately, as has already been stated, it's Microsoft BT stack-compliant only; this means very few Pocket PC's will be able to run it. Please see the list of MS BT stack-equipped Pocket PCs (and Smartphones) here.- Werner Ruotsalainen's blog
