Best of Everything - Smartphone - Battery Pack Pro

Taking a slight detour in my review of the Best of Everything Software Package today I'm going to review one of the products available for the Smartphone. The Smartphone package includes over $1000 worth of software for only $139.

The first Smartphone app I'm going to review is Battery Pack Pro by Omega One.

I'm a long-time Pocket PC user but relatively new to the Smartphone world. Not only am I used to using a stylus but I have long used Today screen application launchers. The most important feature for me with Battery Pack Pro is the Program Bar.

Battery Pack Pro includes two main components - the Program Bar and the Battery Bar. The Program Bar lets you add up to 3 rows of icons to launch programs. You can configure these to be static (all shown) or use a scroll bar to display/move between different the different rows. For me this is a life saver as I hate having to scroll through all my programs to get to my most used.

The other major piece of functionality is the Battery Bar. This lets you display the current state of your battery, memory and storage card, as well as display a clock and network monitor.

The program also includes 4 addition functions: Power Task (task manager), Power Clean (clean temp files), Power Alert (enhance calendar/alarm sounds), and Power Store (detailed battery and memory information).

Battery Pack Pro has quickly become a must-have application for my Smartphone. One of several great Smartphone programs included in the Best of Everything Software Package.
