TrialAction has just released DragonBall, a very nice clone of the well-known game also available on the Net in many Flash incarnations. The QVGA version can be found here, and the VGA version here.
This game is definitely worth a try, particularly if you have a VGA device. My only grief with the game is the music, which seems to be the same for all stages/fields. For a game costing as much as $19.95, better music should be the norm.
Compatibility report and bugs
Unfortunately, the game is a bit buggy.
First, DragonBall.exe always crashes on WM5-upgraded (absolutely clean, freshly hard reset) HP iPAQ hx4700's.
On other VGA devices (I've tested it on the Pocket Loox 720 and Dell Axim x51v (A12 ROM version) - both have been absolutely "clean" (both after a hard reset)), it seems to be working OK. On the x51v, however, I've sometimes encountered "previous screen contents are not deleted" bugs like the one here and here. I needed to restart the game to get rid of these problems.
Otherwise, it's working OK on my other WM2003+ devices (the title isn't compatible with pre-WM2003 operating systems) test devices.
