Access Soon to Release Final Version of Great Alternate Web Browser NetFront 3.3?

http://www.access.co.jp/english/soft_dl/index.html

Today, I've routinely checked the NetFront 3.3 preview/beta download page to see whether there's a new version of NetFront there and have noticed that the title has changed from 'Technical Preview' to 'Trial Version'. The main link text has also been modified; now it states it's indeed the trial version of a soon-to-be-released commercial NetFront 3.3 ("We have started free download of Trial version. Try the latest version of v3.3 before formal release"). This is certainly great news because the Technical Preview/Trial restrictions (two tabs/windows at most, no Java/Flash, only two User-Agents to switch between) render the trial version really restricted (as opposed to the last beta of Opera, which is clearly the best alternate browser page loading speed-wise.) Incidentally, Minimo 0.015 (another alternate Pocket PC Web browser) has also been released in the meantime. You can read the changes here. I haven't had the time, as yet, to thoroughly test it. OFFTOPIC: argh, I've spent about 20-25 hours (including two complete Windows reinstalls and NAV update downloads over a 56kbps phone line because of the complete virus & trojan damage and the different way Office 2000 and XP/2003 handles mailing label printing from Outlook - incidentally, has anyone managed to make the latter two Offices really print Outlook contacts?) this week fixing Windows virus issues with the home PC of the leader of the local German Lutheran Church. This also meant I couldn't even go to swim/the sauna... A rule of thumb: never ever let Windows XP PC's connect the Net before setting up SP2 (from, preferably, an offline medium)!

JavaScript or Java? If the first, Opera Mobile may also be a nice choice - it has even better JS support than NF.

As far as plain Java is concerned, you may want to give a plug-in JVM like CrEme a try, used with the built-in Pocket Internet Explorer.

BTW, the Japanese version of NF is out. The English version will follow soon.
