Why does Pocket Outlook/Email/My Text insert initial caps despite proper setting? How to fix? Settings / Input / Options; uncheck "Capitalize first letter of sentence":

1. Word doesn't take into account the current state of Settings/Input/Options/Capitalize first letter of sentence; Notes, on the other hand, does.

2. not by default. There're, however, several third-party apps that, with some restrictions, do this. Please see this thread.
