&lt;p&gt;The FTP module in Resco file explorer is meant for FTP downloads - not HTTP. That is, it can&#039;t download anything requiring HTTP connections. It&#039;s only with the applications in this test that you can download files off the Web.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I also recommend &lt;a href=&quot;/blogs/index.php?blog=3&amp;amp;p=508&amp;amp;more=1&amp;amp;c=1&amp;amp;tb=1&amp;amp;pb=1#more508&quot;&gt;this blog entry&lt;/a&gt; on purely FTP clients.&lt;/p&gt;
