Frank, just leave a newline (press Enter) after the headers; it'll show the mailer clients /servers the body follows.

BTW, as far as the file system corruption problem is concerned: did you check out FlexMail 2007? Also, did you try reformatting / optimizing the storage card as is explained here?

Now I see what you mean. It's indeed a big problem with Qmail (and, for that matter, Messaging) not to be able to process atttahcments in Outlook-sent mails. (Just writing a complete article on this and the multiple attahcment selection / saving issues.)

Played a bit with the latest Qmail build - no success. BTW, the same stands for FlexMail 2007 (I've thoroughly tested it; it still doesn't support winmail.dat) - are you absolutely sure it is able to decode and render it?

Both apps are able to render the textual part of these messages; in this respect, they work the same. That is, as Outlook always sends out a text-only version of the message (which, in its HTML / RTF form, is in winmail.dat), you'll be able to read the textual version in both mailers.

Thanks; as soon as I have some free time, I scrutinize (on the POP3 level - see for example this) what the problem is caused by.

The last problem has always been present in Qmail - to my knowledge, it can't be fixed. I'll again check it when I update the Roundup with information on the latest versions (incl. FlexMail 2007).

I'm afraid the Qmail tutorial will only be published later - I still don't know when.
