Joshua, I'll report this problem to the Opera folks; hopefully, they implement either manually editable User-Agent fields or also offer the desktop IE as a selectable user-agent.

OK, if you aren't afraid of hexediting, it seems you can directly edit opera.dll. The WM5 version seem to contain the desktop version string starting at position 442eb4.

Use exactly the same string as I've provided for beta 2.

Let me know if it doesn't work. I haven't tested/documented this myself because my capabilities are pretty restricted right now (have to work on my notebook). If it doesn't work, nothing will go wrong with your PPC.

I'll publish the way of making the new version use exactly the same User-Agent - if it's possible to do this trick with the new version. Check back later.

You won't need the "hacked" DLL's with the new version any more because Opera Mobile now supports User-Agent spoofing (see Menu/Tools/Settings/Identify as). Now that there is no point in using them, I remove them at once from my back-end server.

It supports the latter (see this screenshot showing this in action). Will test the former ASAP.

Yeah, it does cost a lot, but NetFront 3.3 won't cost less either (unless you have purchased version 3.2).
