 <description>&lt;p&gt;Yup, Gmail&#039;s POP3 is (and has been for at least a year) buggy, as I&#039;ve pointed out in many of my articles / &lt;em&gt;microsoft.public.pocketpc&lt;/em&gt; posts. That is, it makes all already-fetched, but still online (not deleted) mail invisible upon subsequent fetches; this is why Messaging doesn&#039;t display mail that has already been fetched.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;There is, unfortunately, no fix for this, except for switching to a completely new mailer client that doesn&#039;t remove the mail that doesn&#039;t exist on the mail server from the view. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Of the alternate clients, I recommend Qmail the most.&lt;/p&gt;
