You mean the beeps every 15 second? I haven't encountered anything like that on my Nokia N95-1. But that's a slighltly different model - Nokia's engineers may have left out the "beep" feature (that is, more of an annoyance) from the N95-1, while they did (re)implement / (re)enable it in the 8GB.

If that's the problem, I recommend switching to Ultimate Voice Recorder instead, which does (or, at least, is supposed to) supress these beeps.

I also recommend posting a help request to the AAS and the Symbian-Freak forums on these questions (click the links) so that people actually having an N95 8GB can also help / chime in.
