Emran, what WM5 AKU version do you have: pre-AKU3 or AKU3? Or, a cooked WM6 ROM? If the latter two, then, you'll need to use Internet Sharing; if the former, then, just install the USB modem driver linked to from my AKU3 Internet Sharing article. You'll need to supply USBMDM.INF to it when it prompts for a â€œGeneric Serialâ€ device when you connect your handset in modem mode (started with Modem Link).

1. start Programs / Internet Sharing on your PPC

2. click Connect, making sure "USB" is selected in the upper drop-down menu

3. connect your PPC to your PC via USB

4. that's all :)

In essence, it makes the Windows Mobile phone a somewhat limited (only one client can connect at a time; connection must be manually set up on the server side; no configurable goodies like NAT etc.) regular Access Point.
