I think a lot of people would not prefer to use an operator-side voicemail. Remember it's rather costly in many countries.

Rohit, you can (there's a separate checkkbox for it in Settings), but, then, the other party will possibly not hear anything of your intro message.

1. Yup, the ASUS is call recording-capable.

2. I only wish every WM device manufacturer was like Gigabyte (or Nokia, of course) for seamless answering machine (and, of course, call recordig) implementation

3. there're more than one Symbian manufacturers. To my knowledge, some? all? UIQ (Sony-Ericsson) models don't support answering (flawless - that is, silent) machines either, unlike Nokia's (S60) models.

Yes, you can save the coicemail cost - and you can easily backup / archive your messages. Also, accessing them is much quicker.

On the negative side, with most Windows Mobile, the loud (!) speakerphone is needed. I REALLY wish Microsoft and hardware manufacturers would finally fix this issue - after all, Symbian has supported silent answering machines for FIVE (!) years...

It'd be VERY nice if you added MS Smartphone support - after all, MS Smartphones are far better suited for call recording / answering machine implementation.

Great news! I cross-post an announcement to the other forums in a minute.

BTW, when do you plan to look into the MS Smartphone incompatibility bug?
