&lt;p&gt;I understand your dilemma.  I took a slightly different approach though.  I still use the Plus today plug-in as my main tab (i.e. replace the Home tab).  I like being able to have small icons and I didn&#039;t use other features of the Home tab.  &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Spb Pocket Plus is a &quot;must have&quot; on all my devices.  I can&#039;t live without the battery meter, &quot;x&quot; closes apps and Pocket IE enhancements.  Mobile Shell adds more great functionality so it&#039;s a perfect match for me!&lt;/p&gt;
