 <description>&lt;p&gt;Joe T.: Yeah, leaving out infrared is quite a big loss IMHO. It wouldn&#039;t take up THAT much space: for example, the, compared to many MS Smartphones out there, technically far superior Nokia N95 (still) has IrDA...&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I have been using an iPod Touch and do like it as a media player. I appreciate the touch interface. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I also agree with you on the limitations - the limitation that bothered me  the most when I tried email, in an otherwise, very usable device is the soft keyboard, which I find almost unusable. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I take it the keyboard is why you wanted to use a stylus. Actually, the biggest ah-ha experience using the touch was that a touch screen is for touching. That is, a stylus is a much more awkward approach. &lt;/p&gt;
