Ken, so far, everything worked I've thrown these devices at. Some people state it (at least the WM6.1 version for the Universal) isn't compatible with Skype; Fring and Palringo, on the other hand, work.

Now that I'm working on a review of the Gear4 BT headphones, I've also used some of these WM6.1-upgraded devices as an A2DP source. The hx4700 worked flawlessly; the sound on the Wizard, on the other hand, for some reason, started to severely stutter after an hour or so, requiring a reset. Will definitely check this myself to see whether it's a memory leakage problem.

On the hx4700 with the VIET PDAV61KBD ROM, the traditional (.mui) way of "forcing" individual applications (for example, Adobe Acrobat) into VGA mode doesn't seem to work. I'll test Mad Programmer's high resolution hack to see whether it works.

On the Universal, the OK button doesn't work in several built-in apps (for example, in Outlook / Messaging) and Settings applets. Then, you MUST use the hardware OK button. Also, the Universal doesn't seem to take into account the band selection (Phone / Band), which can be a real pain in the back if it's continuously switching between 2(.5) and 3G and/or you'd like to enhance battery life by sticking strictly with 2G. I'll definitely check whether registry hacking and/or third party based apps help this.
