Any thoughts as to whether there is any reason this would not work on a Treo 700W if I turn off the Verizon dedicated phone (to avoid its preemptive nack for running up data minutes at extraordinary rates)? Or would even turning off the built in phone be unnecessary?

I've been using my iPAQ 210 for months with the two DLL's on it so that I can use Jbed to run MIDlets (incl. Opera Mini).

Actually, it was yesterday - after a very long, public correspondence with someone (at microsoft.public.pocketpc) trying to make SkyFire run on his iPAQ 210 (without any success) - that it occurred to me that the two files were also the cause for SkyFire having always run on my iPAQ. This, of course, has caused some confusion in the above-mentioned newsgroup, which has also led me to the solution.

No extra resets have ever been necessary on the iPAQ. The case was the same on my other "classic" PDA's I've copied the two files to.
