Clip-on magnetic card reader that interfaces with the serial port on the bottom of an iPAQ. This leaves the expansion pack slots available for other devices. It reads magnetic cards encoded by ANSI, ISO 7811 and 7812, AAMVA, or CA DMV standards. The unit is powered by the host iPAQ and does not require any batteries or external power source.
