Atrac3 file playback

Hi all, I use Pocket Music at the moment to play MP3s on my 2210. Is there any way I can play back atrac3 files on my PPC? Its the proprietary file format for the Sony iPod-competitor. Great sound quality. None of the the players I have looked at so far can do (winampaq, Pocket Music, Realplayer etc), and there doesn't seem to be an atrac3 codec available anywhere for the PPC. Anybody got any ideas? w.

ATRAC/ATRAC3 used to be a superb quality compression favoured widely by the audio pros many years ago, but unfortunately IMO, they caused it's own demise because you can only transfer songs to and fro your PC and portable player only 3 times using their propriety software.
I had previously chucked any flavour of MP3, etc in great favour of ATRAC3/LP2, coz I only sing praises for it. But I am now considering moving over to AAC, which is also superb.
Any comments by ex-ATRAC fans?

Maybe eventually but not yet since it is too new.
I am not familiar with this atrac3 file format. Are you even sure that the sound quality is all based on the file and not the actual hardware it's played on?
I say this cause remember audio cassette tapes?
Play them on a $40 dollar no name cassette player and them play them on a $200 cassette player. Same tape but better sound quality on a $200 Sony player. ;-)
I can play an mp3 file on my Viewsonic and it sounds great but is not that good on my IPAQ or Audiovox.
