UFO beta 1.15 made public - great on WM2003 PPC's!

Pocket UFO beta 1.15 has been made public - it's just GREAT on WM2003 devices! The homepage (http://www.hpc.ru/news/nw/126/12644.shtml ) is all in Russian. You can download the game fromhttp://www.hpc.ru/soft/download.phtml?id=6912 ; forced download:http://www.hpc.ru/soft/data/6912/beta_115cab.zip . Just tested it on my iPAQ 2210 (WM2003) and Pocket Loox 720 (WM2003SE, VGA). It ran flawlessly and just GREAT on my iPAQ 2210. The VGA PL720, however, had fatal problems in all the four possible configurations (Portrait/Lanscape, SE and native VGA). It seems it doesn't work on VGA devices as yet. On QVGA Pocket PC's, however, it's a must.

This is basically an unofficial port of the old mid-90s games (1994, if I remember right) X-Com, UFO Defense, right? Looks pretty good, from the screenshots. They appear to have done a good job of migrating the UI over to the PPC form factor.

Doesn't seem to work at all on Second Editions devices even if they are QVGA devices.

Yes.
I had some free time to play the game today. It's really a perfect port of the PC version, except for some beta bugs. At last a real strategy game for the PPC with great, stereo music! I wish it worked on WM2003SE though - people on other boars have reported that the previous beta was still compatible with SE.

Does anyone know where I can find a manual for this game? The game itself looks awesome, but since I have never played XCom, I'm not really sure how to play it. Would it be easier to track down a version of the XCom manual?

Yes the version 1.17 works on a hx4705 as well as all other Windows SE devices I have tried it on.
