Languages supported by Windows CE

Hi, I am very new to the world of PDAs and had a specific question that was thrown my way. Can someone tell me what languages are supported by Windows CE/PocketPC - ie. is Japanese, Korean, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese supported? Also, if a certain language (eg Mongolian) is not supported by Windows CE, is it possible to install a file that will allow this language to be supported? The PDAs that are being used are: IPAQ 4700 and Audiovox 6600. Many thanks,

If you mean fonts: yes, it's possible to install them with some manual hacking. I know of Japanese and Chinese tutorials.
If you mean the language of the device itself: Windows CE is a one-language operating system. Thios means a WinCE instance on a particular device will only have one interface language. This chan be changed by re-flashing your device (if it supports it), which is, unfortunately, mostly illegal unless you have a second device of the same type with the target language. The second way is using a RAM-based Language Extender. The latter also supports small languages - it may even support Mongolian. It, however, has a lot of disadvantages when compared to the ROM-based solution (prone to crash, disappears after a hard reset, takes up precious RAM etc.)

I did mean fonts. Can you explain the 'manual hacking' required to install them?
Many thanks...

Unfortunately, Ectaco, the most important vendor of complete and easy-to-install PPC language solutions, doesn't support Mongolian at all on PPC's (seehttp://www.ectaco.name/mongolian_language.html ).
You can install Japanese support by following the instructions athttp://discussion.brighthand.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=74282 . About Chinese, check outhttp://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=34144 instead.
