Still new to the PDA Scene so I'm just wondering what are some "must haves" programs. Been surfing around and can't find anything that really interests me. Only ones I can think of are: Adobe Reader I wont be using my iPAQ on the net so that cuts out a majority of network programs...... Any other good programs??

There''re tons of them. You, first, may want to consult PPCMag's Pocket PC magazine Best Software Awards 2004 (http://smartphonemag.com/awards/main.asp ). It lists the top apps.
Furthermore, I recommend the following threads:

There''re quite a lot of them. Check outhttp://menneisyys.freeweb.hu/PICVIEWERS and decide for yourslef. As a generic pic viewer, I think Resco is the best. If you, however, want advanced editing functionality too, you may need to look somewhere else.
