I am wondering if it is possible to connect a Dell Axim X30 (with wireless & bluetooth) to a car audio system to listen to music I have loaded into the Windows Media Player.

Sure it is with an FM transmitter. They are very cheap (around 10-20 US$) and produce tolerable sound quality (albeit definitely worse than a real AUX sound input on a car receiver).
This has nothing to do with Bluetooth, though: you just insert the 3.5" jack of the transmitter into the PDA, so, the transmitter gets its sound input via a wired connection. This also means that problems related to bluetooth sound transmission (either very low quality of, with the Hi-Fi BT sound compression, the additional CPU load and some similar problems) are eliminated.
