Ipaq 5150 internet routing software

I use a expasion pack with a cellular card to connect to the internet on my Ipaq 5150, I need to share this internet connection with my windows CE device. I have been told that the ipaq 5150 is only pan server and doesn't have the routing capability to share its connections. Is this true and if so is there anyway around this IE: new software, emulation or even a possible software hack.
Hope someone can help.

Yes, it would help. You'd point your Internet Explorer and your mailer client to to the proxy port to access the Web and receive/send mail. No other services will work because toonel is not a Socks proxy, though. (I'll some day port one of my Socks proxies to the Pocket PC...)

I've read the two articles you suggested and i'm not sure it would help me. I've set up blue toothe networking and even serial networking on my windows CE device and the CE device can't find the internet connection on my ipaq. I can get a connection between the two in the blue tooth incoming but can't figure out how to get the ipaq to send the connection out of the ipaq. I've tried serial, active sync and even blue tooth no luck. Could setting up a proxy on my ipaq solve this problem to share the connection.

It's true - the operating system doesn't support routing.

However, you can help this very easily if you use a HTTP and/or SMTP and/or POP3 proxy running on your iPAQ 5150. Use, for example, Toonel for this. Please also read this article on proxies.

Let me know if you need support with setting up/configuring this.
