For Microsoft Reader, download the Read in Microsoft Reader plug-in.

For Mobipocket Reader (which is, BTW, NOT a PDF viewer but a Palm DOC/Mobi XDOC one!) get either Office Companion Standard or Pro if you want to convert Office files, or, alternatively, if TXT/HTML input is right with you, just use the built-in converter in Mobipocket Web Companion to quickly create your files.

Please note that the latter is really featureless and can't even include graphics. Therefore, if you want something more for free, let me know and I retest/debug/upgrade my old XDOC creator utility. (I've written it back in 2002-2003 and it no longer works with the latest Mobi versions. It, therefore, needs some serious work.)
