Ipaq 3630 lost O/S

My PAD had an initial problem with a "mirror image" screen (Back to front). Now it refuses completely to boot . The screen lights up but stays "White". What would cause this? How can it be fixed. Can somebody help?.

Device needs servicing or replacing. Sounds like the screen/circuit board connection is loose inside the unit. Try www.ppctechs.com or similar for servicing or try opening and checking the connections yourself. Again ppctechs have step by step instructions last time I checked on disassembly 36xx units

Hard reset it: Remove the PDA from any kind of charger, slide open the small latch on the lower left, just next to the sync socket and slide the little switch to the right beneath the latch. Wait 30-60 seconds and slide the switch it to the left again. Close the latch.
