Hey Duncan,

You actually need Windows Mobile 4.2+ (which is 2003 not 2002 as mentioned). You can find the requirements athttp://www.realdice.com.

While the new version of the game no longer supports IrDA and Bluetooth, it is now INTERNET ENABLED, which allows you to take on hundreds of players from around the globe, anytime, anywhere.

Art-

Thanks for clarifying the product specs and requirements. I'll let our New Product Editor Diane Dumas know about this so that we can update the information in our system. I've changed the information in the "Hot Download" area already.

Cool, nicw to hear you'll create more multiplayer titles! I'll review the new title ASAP and include it in The Definitive Multiplayer PPC Game Roundup (http://www.smartphonemag.com/blogs/menneisyys/102005MPPPCGames.asp ).

Menneisyys-

Thanks, love the roundup! Noticed in your chart that Multiplayer Championship Poker Texas Hold'em gets a "-" under Multiplatform, in fact you can play MCPoker against opponents using Smartphone, Symbian, Pocket PC, Palm OS or the recently released (free!) Windows 2000/XP desktop version.

Feel free to email me (art [at] realdice [dot] com) if you need a key to Multiplayer Championship Backgammon, eagerly awaiting your review!

Yup, thanks for the remark - I'll fix this in the new version.

Thanks, that won't be necessary - fortunately, your games are not locked, mulitplayer-wise, in the trial version (this is what some other games developers should also do); that is, I don't need any registration to check them.

OK, game tested; the MP Games Roundup accordingly updated to contain the review of the game.

Menneisyys -

Thanks for updating the Real Dice Multiplayer Championship Poker info, and adding Multiplayer Championship Backgammon to the roundup. We've noticed the issues you mention regarding speed and keyboard, and are working on them for our next
upgrade release.

In the meantime, if you want more multiplayer online action on the poker tables, try logging in during the evening, especially fridays and saturdays, the tables seem to be much fuller during these peak hours. I can email you directly with some other exciting developments as well, if you're interested. Game on!

Thanks again,

OK, I'll check it then and accordingly update the article.

Hey Guys,

Just wanted to let you both know that we've just released a major update to Multiplayer Championship Poker, version 4.0, which in addition to graphical enhancements and customer-requested features, will now allow for online multi-table tournaments. Hope you'll check it out and let us know what you think.

Hi
I want to play realdice.com Multiplayer Championship Poker online but I get the message "can't get date from server". What does this mean?
I have bluetooth enabled, do I have to Activesync to be able to connect to the game online ? My bluetooth connection works, no doubt. My PDA is a rx3715. Is it a port problem ? Basically, how can I configure the game to play online ? Help please, I cn't take it anymore.
Thanks in advance
