Internet Explorer Problem

I recently purchased a smart phone with WnW with the main purpose to view the weather maps on the likes of the BBC. However, when I access the page the maps either dont appear, the buttons dont appear, or the map is split into three, one after another instead of ontop [ie: the map, then underneath the towns and then underneath that the weather symbols]. Is this a problem with IE on the mobile phone or is there a solution?
