I'm using a 1910 running ppc2002 and have a problem with for example, 'remove programs' where the right hand(up/down) scroll bar is not accessible. There is a small blank strip (about 1-2 mm )down the left hand side of the screen. would a hard reset help?

Have you tried simply re-aligning the screen? (settings/system/screen/align screen)

Thanks, but I tried that without success. Could pocket tweak be the cause? Anyone have any ideas?

If you've been using something like Pocket Tweak to change the registry it could easily be the cause. Hopefully you have a backup from before you made the registry changes that you can restore. If not, save your data files to the SD card or the PC and do a hard reset/re-install. If it was a registry tweak that caused the problem you'll be OK.
It is possible though that this is a hardware problem that will require a return to HP for repair.
