Tip #225: Stop ActiveSync Window from Popping Up

Every time you connect your mobile device to your desktop PC to synchronize it, the ActiveSync window pops up. If you want, you can stop the ActiveSync window from popping up when you synchronize. Disconnect your device, if it is connected to the desktop PC. Open the Activesync window on your desktop computer and go to Tools -> Options. In the Options window, click on the Rules tab. Now uncheck the option at the bottom of the window which says, "Open ActiveSync when my mobile device connects." The ActiveSync window will not pop up when you connect your mobile device and use ActiveSync. __________________
