Listen to Sirius or XM satellite radio on your device

With a subscription to Sirius or XM satellite radio, the proper software, and a live Internet connection, you can listen to commercial-free music and other satellite radio programming on your touch screen device. Here’s how you do it.
Sirius subscribers
  1. Download Sirius WM5 at geekstoolbox.com and install it on your device. It acts as a front-end for Windows Media Player.
  2. Enter your login name and password in the program’s Settings menu and tap Save.
  3. Select the channel you want to listen to, enter the “captcha” text that appears under the text box, and tap OK (or Play). Note that the song data (artist/title) is displayed at the bottom of the screen.
XM subscribers
  1. Open Internet Explorer (NetFront and Opera Mobile are also supported) and go to xstreamxm.com/mobile.
  2. From here, enter your login data and choose a channel and bit rate (speed).
  3. Tap Go at the bottom.
  4. A page will appear displaying the currently playing song and other data. This program also uses Windows Media Player, which is open in the background.
