Using the “Today timeout” feature
Submitted Thursday, March 27, 2008
The Today timeout feature allows you to set the amount of time (1-12 hours) that you want your device to wait before it automatically returns to the Today screen if another program is open. Note that your device must be powered off and remain idle for the allotted time in order for the Today timeout to work. Note also that we could only get this feature to work on a Windows Mobile 2003 SE device.
To activate this feature, go to Start >Settings >Today >Items tab and check the box labeled “Today timeout.” Then select the amount of time you want your device to wait before timing out from the drop-down menu to the right of the check box.
