Using Terminal Services
Submitted Friday, February 23, 2007
The Terminal Services program is built into Pocket PCs only. It allows users to remotely access PCs or Windows Mobile devices on a network. To establish a remote connection, the PC you are connecting to must be running Remote Desktop or Terminal Services. Also, your Pocket PC must be able to connect to the PC via the Internet, ActiveSync, Infrared, or Wi-Fi connectivity. If these conditions are met, you can connect remotely by following these steps:
Start Terminal Services on your Pocket PC: Start >Programs >Terminal Services.
In the box labeled "Server," enter either an IP address or a fully-qualified domain name for the remote computer you wish to connect to.
Tap the Connect button.
