Cannot Load MEssaging

I have a verizon 6900, and can no longer access E-Mail.  The messaging program refuses to run.  I click on the Icon, and nothing happens.  I can access the internet.  Can anyone help?

Have you tired doing a soft reset since the issue cropped up? Sometimes the RAM area can become corrupted and needs to be purged and reloaded just like on a desktop PC.

This has happened to me twice already.  The only way to get it to work again was to do a hard reset.  Be prepared to call Verizon to reauthenticate your phone.  I am currently in the same state, this will be the second time for me, I am currently looking for a way to resolve this without the hard reset.  This is a huge pain in the butt.  Pulling the battery and soft resets are a waste of time. If someone has a fix please feel free to share.  Thanks

Hey Don,

Since my last post I had no choice but to do a hard reset again to resolve my issue with messaging.  Again I had to call verizon to reauthenticate the phone.  I could not believe that just one day after the hard reset the problem once again returned.  However this time I was able to resolve it without the HR.  I have read that in order to resolve the problem, you can try deleting the inbox folder that is usually created on your storage card to store attachments.  I deleted the folder and messaging is now working for me.  Not the best fix, but it does indeed beat the HR.

Please let me know if this resolves your issue.  Also, are you syncing with an exchange server?

Thanks for the input.  I went back to where I bought the phone and had them reset the device.  Seems to work now.
